The Holidays are Coming!

In case you missed our most recent Newsletter, here is an update on what is going on at Finding Roots!

We have a few classes going on through the month – check out our complete list on our Classes & Events page!  One of the classes we are most excited about is Fleece Blanket Making with our friends Fleece & Thank You!  100% of proceeds from this workshop go directly to Fleece & Thank You to continue to create hope for warriors in the hospital!

Fleece & Thank You mission statement:

Fleece & Thank You believes in creating a better world for children suffering in the hospital. Our mission is to provide donors the unique opportunity to give comfort and hope to children by creating a fleece blanket and a personalized video message. The healing connection we foster by linking blanket makers to children with illnesses allows us to cheer them on at the starting line of their treatment journey. We work with local groups to help them make blankets and video messages, and then we deliver those to the hospital. Our goal is a simple one: every child in every hospital bed receiving much-needed hope in the form of a colorful, fleece blanket at the start of treatment.

For more information on their very amazing charity, check out their website HERE.

unnamedAnother amazing Downtown Howell Event is on the Horizon.  What better way to kick off the Holiday Season than with the Annual Fantasy of Lights?!  Come out and see us – stop in and see what’s new!

And finally, a sneak peek at what we have in store for December.

Stay posted – we will be sharing all the details soon, but you won’t want to miss this opportunity to have a great time AND create handmade goodies perfect for gift-giving season.
